New all-brick home in Vienna listed at $3.5M

It’s more expensive than McLean—kind of a traditional, all-brick style. Is the style starting to change?

In new news housing is expensive. Salaries haven’t kept up.

8000 SF of living space on less than half acre lot.... what's the market for this?

It’s walkable to town.

I hate it.

It's an awesome location but personally I think it's pretty ugly. And who needs that much house?

Over 3 million and zero landscaping?

A gorgeous home, so much better than the same old boring black and white I've been seeing everywhere. I hate the double island in the kitchen though, so stupid.

With no sidewalk?

+1 If one is good, two is better, right? You can stand in between and cook on either side maybe?

It's not exactly cozy. The rooms are huuuge. I like a cozy space unless I'm entertaining the masses.

I do like the facade and that block of that street has some gorgeous and unique homes, but the house is way too big.

Similar house in McLean costs more, of course. Look at 7011 Elizabeth Drive.

There are many of these similar looking builds, don't know the name of the style, but definitely not "traditional". They cost 1 mil more in some parts of Mclean, exact same homes.

OP made it sounds like it was an older home, it's not. all new construction is exorbitantly priced. And it's shocking why smth exactly the same would cost 4.5 mil just in the next suburb over.

Where’s the outdoor living? Patio, pergola?
