In the late 90s, all the phone numbers at Virginia tech started with 552- converted to letters on the keypad LLC. Our neighbors phone number spelled out LLC-OOLJ. It was epic at the time.

Gen X here and I feel the same! I think they are available but I don't have the energy to find them. When I do, the commercials are so outstandingly bad. Like Febreze commercials? I was a captive in my youth to epically bad commercials "Where's the Beef"-- I don't need this in my dotage. They are so insultingly bad that I actually get mad at the products.

I just love that we have this old people attitude, me and elder-mil.
