Which one is better for starting in Tech for a fresh graduate? if comp and total benefits is same/comparable.
AI says both are great companies and with some differences in work culture, WLB, opportunities. |

I think I would rather work for Apple. I’m more in line with their mission of creating cell phones and computer products although I know they do more than that.
Facebook and Instagram however, I’m not sure. I’m users of both, but… Also, I think I’d rather work for Apple leadership and team rather than Zuch. Both are good names to have on your résumé. |

| similar to the typical DCUM advice on the top schools, where intended major is a key aspect - so to does this matter with the T10 tech companies. Meaning the job itself is often more important than where you land. The best job for new grads I’ve seen during my time in the tech field is pre sales or solution engineer - it’s a role that most tech firms have training programs, and the role bridges the sales side with the the product/tech side. Can launch into either path after 2 years of this after school.. |

| To me, it is more about the position. I'd pick kernel programmer or ASIC designer at either one over web developer or ASIC verification at the other. |

What a dumb question, especially for a college thread. Good Lord. The odds that one would have the exact same job with the exact same boss and the exact same pay are zero.
The world is not binary. A lot of factors go into these decisions. You are being incredibly simplistic. Based on that, I don't think you could work at either except in the cafeteria. |

Zuck just said he is going to layoff 1'/3 of his workforce.
Apple not Meta all day everyday. Tim Cook is a fool but he is not as in human as Zuck who buy the way is buying up land in Palo Alto to create his own compound so he and his family do not have to deal with the "others". |
