I chose my ass over my face and I look gaunt

45, and my face looks so thin. My body looks great though - I've worked out (including strength training) for a long time, but it was covered in a layer of 15-20lbs of fat. My BMI is still about 21, so I''m not super thin or lean. But man... my face took a hit. Is there any hope? Can I inject some belly fat into my cheeks? I'm not interested in fillers - they never age well.

I am sure you look great, OP. Well done for exercising and looking after your health and long-term mobility, circulation, and strength. I would make sure you’re eating healthy fats like oily fish and avocado - but I bet you look terrific now and what’s more, will continue to look terrific as you age.

Get a deep plane.

No one is looking at your face so don’t worry about it.

I would put it differently - no one is judging your face as harshly as you are judging your own.

😂 same here, sister. Not that I’m exactly choosing to be fat, but I am and my face looks fantastic. I’m really trying to lose weight and when I do, I hope there’s a balance between a healthy body and good looking face.

I believe sculpture or radiesse build collagen. If you're an avid runner, I would stop.

Face lift when you're ready; until then, I would do hyperdilute radiesse. It is biostimulatory and does help, but if you go to a good dermatologist, they can tell you if it's enough or if you need a facelift. Biostimulatory fillers are completely different than the stuff from the 2000s that looked fake and awful.

Make sure you are drinking a ton of water and sleeping enough. I swear by Gold Bond crepe corrector, which I use on my neck and forehead. I noticed a difference in 3 days. My skin looks plumper, so to speak, and the lines are less harsh. From what I've read online, it works as long as you use it daily. Try it and report back.

Are you wearing makeup? Are you wearing the right kind of makeup? A good, medium coverage foundation + undereye concealer, liquid blush, and highlighter/luminizer works wonders. And the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray to keep it in place also gives your skin a nice glow.

at 45 choosing your ass over your face is still 20 years away.

Just remember that if you ask a dermatologist if you need a facelift , they’ll most will say no because they want to keep you as a patient to keep doing Botox and fillers on.
I’d much rather go to a plastic surgeon who can do both a facelift and Botox/fillers because they’ll tend to be less biased.

I chose my face. My ass is flat as a pancake, and not in a good way. No amount of squats or weights have made a difference.
