| Used to Shorthills, NJ area and need to relo to DMV. Thus far am super underwhelmed. Was recommended Bethesda and Chevy Chase, but found them to be shanty towns. NoVa was kinda underwhelming. Is there anywhere in DMV that actually has true elite status that can handle wall street F you money? All I've been introduced to are medicore neighborhoods in the DMV... |
| FYA it’s Short Hills but nice try |
|
Never heard of Shorthills/Short Hills, but ok.
Also, "true elite status". Snort. |
| Is OP an Executive? |
| Wow this post really makes me want to help this OP.move here. What a pure delight of a person! |
| Great Falls. |
| I always thought of Short Hills as sort of a tacky area. If you like it, you might like McLean. |
|
Also fyi, Short Hills culture is seen as brash and borish here.
The DMV is quieter. Bezos lives in Kalorama. |

Great Falls, Potomac, McLean, Kalorama.

LOL at thinking Bezos actually spends anytime in that house. It is strictly somewhere to stay for a few days when lobbying or overseeing HQ2. If you have Bezos money and want to live an East Coast city you are living in New York. Literally no one with money like that lives in DC because they want to. |
| DC isn’t like NYC in that the most prestigious suburbs are actually in the city limits. Cleveland/Woodley Park, Spring Valley/Kent, and Wesley Heights will have what you want, but the people may be too nice for you. |
| Troll |
| Nowhere close in DC will have lot sizes like short hills. SH is 25 miles from the city. Maybe look in Leesburg? |
| The White House is probably for sale for the right price. Make an offer. |
OP wants an executive house |
