Bucknell gets killed on this board, but the checks are rolling in. Enrollment plunged at Elon and a few others. Maybe they landed here

Bucknell gets "killed" on this board only because one poster is obsessed with it and posts relentlessly.
I actually just looked at its CDS and was surprised at how easy it is to get in. The average SAT is 1270? That's really low. |

| Just googled and a 1270 SAT is the 84th percentile for college bound students. That’s not “really low”. Don’t absorb the warped perceptions of this forum. |

| Not a hater (always liked Bucknell) but as of a month or so ago Bucknell was still accepting freshmen (as opposed to WL or transfers). There is a separate thread on it. NACAC list. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not that post-May deposit that they were digging for kids. |

What do you expect? The very loud and persistent voices on this board only respect about 20ish private colleges/universities (Emory and Cornell are “bad”!). The poster(s) whi do the amusing and harmless Bucknell bits really rile this group up. They seem to be offended that Bucknell refuses to know its place. It’s funny. |

| I have no strong feelings on Bucknell. Their undergrad enrollment broke the record by 1. 1 whole extra student. Their overall enrollment is up by 51. |
