| I thought bathrooms closed when kids started abusing them, but do some HS already have the “can’t use these bathrooms” ever or can’t after certain times? |
|
yep,
they need to stop vaping. |
This is the issue. Parents, many of your kids, not just the "bad " kids but also athletes, band geeks, smart kids, student government leaders, and more, vape at school. They are ruining it for the rest of our kids. |
| It's criminal to close the bathrooms. Some kids have real fears and issues around this. But I also understand that it's an area where bad things are going on that are hard to monitor. Simply closing them all can't be the solution, though. |
Too bad that is on admin. The other kids need to use the bathroom. |
| Can the vape pens be picked up on the metal detectors? |
| Where are they suppose to go to the bathroom? |
Our private high school has vape detectors in the bathrooms. Maybe that would be a better investment than metal detectors? |
| We need open air bathrooms outside of the building. We had those at camp (flushing toilets etc) but it at least would not let vape linger |
Nurse office? |
I heard that they cannot be detected |
That would be a very popular investment |
That's what DD said as well. She was in a pilot school, and it did not cut down on vaping in the bathroom. |
Seriously? High school students can't use bathroom for the whole day? |
| Are they supposed to go outside? |
