Question for Catholic school parents: how often do your kids have required Mass in school?

I attended Catholic school decades ago and back in the day we had mass on the first Friday of the month. On another thread here a poster suggested that typically Catholic elementary schools in the DMV now have required mass for their students every week. Is that true?

Yes it is weekly in the Arlington diocese schools.

It’s weekly for all the Maryland parish schools we looked at as well

Yes in this area mostly weekly Mass. DH and I lived in 5 different states combined and all through elementary school it was monthly Mass.

For our (Arlington Diocese) school if there’s a holy day of obligation they go for a second time during the week in addition to their regularly scheduled Mass day.

Yes. I mean during the school week. Monday to Friday
