No idea. Busy road but that house should be worth more than 2.5 even thought it’s slightly dated.

I've never seen such a big discrepancy between the Elem. and Middle/Hgih school on the Great School score. 5/10/9.

That's a great example of a weird Great School score--Burning Tree is fine, nice small elementary school and I have no idea why the score is so low.

Maybe there's a divorce or some other need to sell the house quickly so they are listing at a cut rate. The busy street near a very busy intersection doesn't help, but this is A LOT of house for 2.5m

I live in a SFH close to downtown Bethesda, and have seen a softening of the market in Edgemoor and environs. But nothing like THIS! I'm surprised - Whitman is the top MCPS high school.

That's a great example of a weird Great School score--Burning Tree is fine, nice small elementary school and I have no idea why the score is so low.

Burning Tree has a learning center classroom for kids with special needs in each grade which affects their test scores. It’s a wonderful school and PP is right that it’s an example of Great Schools data being dumb.

Yes. I think so. It is very close to BHES. That’s a very good school. It’s a good neighborhood. Green tree is busy through that stretch and this house is bigger than the others on that stretch of green tree. It is a great location though so if you need a bigger property in the Whitman district it’s a good option.

Also it’s not really a rehab place. It’s a long term shelter for women and children that is set up like garden apartments, and it is significantly set back from the road up a hill and behind trees. A lot of people in the neighborhood don’t even know it’s there.

Its a homeless shelter for familes, not long term, and it is a group home for teens, most of whom cannot be placed in foster homes.

One of those kids, a Whitman student who lived there, killed someone at the Target on Wisconsin Ave a couple of years ago.

Beautiful home with no personality. I’m not sure if it’s the devote or overall style. It has no personality.
