How do I advertised for my tutoring services? I would like to tutor algebra and calculus. Unfortunately I can't tutor SAT (I know that's where the demand is).
Should I post flyers at the supermarket? Anywhere else? |
| Public library? Neighborhood listserve? |
OP here. My public library said I can't. I'm thinking maybe nextdoor. Thanks for the suggestions PP appreciate it. |

You might want to insert that the SAT is algebra-based and that you offer in-depth math background for the SAT. Not test strategies, but the actual math. A lot of test prep tutors end up being forced to address systemic math comprehension issues, because families don't realize that their kids are missing them. And since there isn't time, once they decide to pay for test prep, to address this, that's why a lot of students don't actually gain that many points with a test prep program.
