How much do you spend on a bra?

Anonymous
I'm 50 and the only bras that work for me are the ones that are $70+. I'm thin but my middle-aged chest is now a 32D and if I want any shaping
at all (plus decent comfort!) I've found that I have to pay $$.
I scour the internet to find them cheaper and generally only have 2 functional bras at any given time.

Yes, 80-100 easy.

I pay between 75-120 per bra.

I find what I like and what fits, and will buy most any color in that style. Simone Perele Comete fits me best (30G, French sizing), so I check their site and others pretty regularly for sales.

I purchase all mine when I am overseas in Europe. The quality and materials are superior than what is sold in the US. Chantal Thomas, La Perla, Hanrio, Agent Provocateur for fun (men can't handle it), Zimmerli are some of my favourite brands. Yes, I have easily spend $500 on a bra, $250 on panties and $300 on garters and stockings. Totally fun and worth it.

I find one I like for full price in a store (between maybe $60 and $100) and then scour the internet for discontinued and discounted colors of the same bra and buy duplicates.

Yep, about $75-100. What I want to know is why my boobs are growing with perimenopause. I've always been 30B (flat), now I'm overflowing 32C (wtf).

$35-$40. Soon they will likely cost a lot more due to tariffs. Better stock up for the girls.

What!? $15-20 max!

34DD. I pay between $60-75 for Natori, which is the only brand that has worked for me. I try to stock up during Nordstrom’s anniversary sales, when I can sometimes get them for cheaper.

I have a bra maker in my country of origin. I pay around $5 - $10 for perfectly comfortable, great coverage, matched sets. I get around 10 at a time. I will probably not be travelling for some time - so these have to last me until Trump is in power.

OP,
yes, my breasts have also grown in menopause. yippy. I used to be a 34B and could wear any bra or none at all. Now i need a 34D/DD to hoist my chest up. i'm actually the same weight overall. i dream of having a reduction but I don't think it's in the cards...paying for 3 college tuitions at the moment and I don't think my chest is large enough that insurance would pay for it.

I'm your size and have luck with Nordstrom Rack. The 70ish Natori, Wacoals, etc go for around 40.

Where?

I used to buy at Sears for about $10, but since they went out of business, I’ve had to shop sales and pay about $25. I’d love to know someplace more affordable.

70-ish. My size is hard to find, so I'm limited in my choices is I want a well-fitted bra.

$80-$150, most of them are still painful to wear except the ones from Third Love.
