Will the SoCal meeting minutes be posted tonight? |
They announced mls next is staying by |
Did the kids that will continue to be trapped with the wrong grade come up on the Zoom (eg August kids)? |
Yes, some leagues might switch to 8/1 based on local school district. But vast majority will be 9/1. They also brought up there has been discussions about other ripping off the band aid and starting next year. They didn’t specify which leagues. |
That’s because MLSN/2 and GA are staying BY. |
Where did you hear that about GA? I heard the commissioner wasn't making any announcements about GA until May |
Not an official announcement so just ignore them. |
Commissioner told families from Kings hammer |
That seems unusual to announce at a California FAQ given CA has a 9/1 school cutoff so no local districts would be implicated. I am surprised no one asked about the trapped August players as there will be many of them in CA with a 9/1 soccer cutoff as many do not start kindergarten right upon turning 5. |
They did, there was a mother of an August 31 holdback. They basically said tough shiet |
Right- like they just told families and that’s how they announced it |
Lmao. The amount of people who will fall for that one |
A parent from kings hammer posted it on some Facebook soccer parent group. |
The goal is align “most” kids with their grade. August kids who started late will be with the grade above them. |
