where in FL for winter break with HSers?

| Where would you recommend for a parents and high school sophomore and junior over winter break? Where the teens will have fun and on a beach preferably for at least part of the trip. |

| Universal Studios specifically the new Epic Universe. Hit the beach before/after (we drive and spent the day at Vera Beach) before heading to Orlando. Ymmv. |

| What kind of beach stuff are you looking to do? Atlantic side has more waves, Gulf side is stiller so easier swimming and kayaking, but not as much fun for stuff like body surfing. Gulf side you're more likely to see Dolphins. For snorkeling go way south to the keys. |

| Farthest south you can go and beach weather will be hit or miss but we have had mostly hits. My ILs live in Miami. |
