I wish she wouldn’t leave. She should say no! BLS is independent and she is a statistician NOT a politician.

Other independent people tried but SCOTUS allows their firing until an appeals court makes a decision. Regular people can't afford to litigate separation of powers issues.

August 2025 Jobs Report -

Under the amazing leadership of President Trump, BLS concludes that the economy is doing amazing and is on fire. It’s so hot right now, like Hansel. Workers are making more money than they ever dreamed was possible. Grown men with tears in their eyes are expressing thanks.
