Do most of you understand the logic behind President Trump level up/down with tariffs ?

Tonight, new set of tariffs begin aug 7th not tomorrow. I want to be understand the logic but I can not finger it out. I understand the President can do it but do most of you understand the logic of changing it ?

that just means the negotiators are making satisfactory progress but not there yet. whether the president can impose tariffs or not is still an open question

Surely you understand that this is an insane policy and there is no rhyme or reason except the President's mood, who he wants to punish in the moment, and from what he needs to distract from?

None of the deals are good….none of the deals will lead to more jobs and in fact manufacturing jobs have already declined.

Looks like the appeals court will strike down the tariffs and let’s hope the Supreme Court does the same.

Trump has been obsessed with Tariffs as punishment since the 80’s. Very little economic sense. He just enjoys the constant attention and headlines they bring.
