what to serve with grilled flank steak

I’m having friends for dinner this weekend, and plan to grill flank steak and serve with a corn/tomato “salsa.” I’m looking for suggestions for sides. Thanks!

I would have said a corn salad but sounds like you have a corn element already. Oven-roasted potato wedges and maybe roasted or grilled asparagus or zucchini?

And I'd add a starch. Potatoes go well with flank steak - mashed, or new potatoes boiled whole, tossed with butter salt garlic and thyme, then smashed flat and roasted at high heat to get a little crispy around the edges.

Grilled broccoli with olive oil salt and garlic is really good.

Pasta salad is nice in this weather. Or homemade potato salad but I think more rolls like pasta salad. Caprese salad is also great this time of year if you can get to farmers market for nice tomato’s.

Ice cream and/or a blackberry cobbler.
Could do peaches with the ice cream too.

You could do a teriyaki marinade and serve with Shishito peppers, garlic fried rice

I love flank steak with chimichurri served along side mashed potatoes topped with creamy poblano sauce and grilled asparagus.

Another vote for chimichurra sauce - and then roasted new potatoes or rice and a salad with bread in it.
