Going rate for orthodontist?

Crowdsourcing the going rate for teen comprehensive orthodonture - moderate complexity. Bethesda. Don't want.to travel. Is $7k about right?

Get multiple estimates. Price will vary by treatment plan. We have no idea what's right for your child.

Yes 7-9 k in Chevy Chase for my 2 kids. Making it work with insurance and gradual payment plan. It’s a lot but they both really needed it (Big overbites) . Good luck to you op.

We had five consultations and the range was $4k to $8k. It's worth getting several estimates. This was in Falls Church/Arlington/Vienna.

In Arlington:: $5,000 for 18 months of Invisalign (overbite, straightening) with largest Invisalign provider. Less if I paid cash up front.

Braces would have cost same amount. Not complex case.

One provider reduced price two times but we didn’t go with his practice because he did t work with our MetLife insurance.

$5k in NOVA, after insurance was applied. I think insurance chipped in $2K, so it was probably $7k all-in.

3500 in DC. Insurance covered some. Didnt rush treatment. I feel good about the office and plan

$8k for 18 months, NW DC. My kid got braces, but Invisalign is the same cost and they allow a switch it that is desired at some point.

Yes.

We paid $8k per child. The highest estimate, but great recommendations. We chose it for the location - a 5 minute drive from our house. With so many appointments and 2 kids, I didn’t want to deal with hours of traffic over 4-5 years for orthodontist appointments.

We paid 10k per child, treatment was starting from age 6 with a break, then ages 11-13.

Yes 6-7 a 1-3 years ago for our family.
