How much should I pay neighbor for watering plants?

We are away for six weeks. Our neighbor (age 12) is bringing in our mail and watering our plants maybe once or twice a week. If it doesn't rain, she is also watering our plants outside.
How much should I pay her when we return?

SIX WEEKS?? At least $50/week. Why didn't you have your mail held for free?

Our neighbors paid my teen $70 to water certain outside plants with the hose daily for 5 days. I thought it was a bit much, but I figured they would pay her $10/visit.

I would estimate $10-12 per hour. So if it's 10 minutes daily to get the mail, plus 20 minutes of watering 3x per week that's a little over 2 hours per week. I would round up to $25-30 per week.
But you have to estimate how long it would take her to do it.

It's much better to have neighbor get mail. Getting post office to do it then stressing over their getting you the bundles delivered or trying to pick them up...never again. Not for a 6 weeks period.
I say $200 to $250 for the 6 weeks.
If you want to pay her weekly $30 week plus bonus when you are back.

I would say maybe $20-25 per visit so about $120-150 if done 2x/wk, then obviously double that…..or at the very least offer a little bit more.

I can see our ring camera and she’s there for less than 10 minutes each time.

Getting the post office hold and then deliver your mail is the most stress-free process there is. You schedule it for the day after your home, or whatever and it just shows up on your doorstep. Zero stress.

I would hold the mail with the post office and pay $20- $25 a week to have my plants watered.

My 13yo is getting our neighbors mail for free for 4 weeks. It’s just being neighborly. If she was watering indoor plants once a week as well we would still do it for free. If they got her a gift card for $50 she would be thrilled. Nothing more than that would be expected.
I also feel like we could ask them for favors too though. We don’t go away for that long buf have asked them on occasion to let our dog out.
