| Hi! Newly divorced. Headed to DC for the weekend (by myself for friend’s party). I know this ritz isn’t super ritzy- but is there somewhere nearby that would be fun for a single, 36 year old woman to get drinks at the bar and meet friendly people? Hookup not the goal, but good conversation and vibes. Fine traveling into DC. I’m from the area but haven’t lived here in years. Definitely don’t want to be targeted as a single woman but also completely comfortable traveling and showing up at the bar solo. |
| Why there? Really boring surroundings. |
Because it’s close to everything I need to get to this weekend…right in the center? Again, willing to travel. But also don’t hate. |
|
Keep an eye out. This was the second big issue in the last few months.

I’m not hating. I’m just speaking truth. For someone in your situation and looking for what you’re looking for it’s among the last hotels I’d recommend. It’s just not a fun area and there’s nothing else there. |
NP. Where would you recommend? |
| Lucky Strike Arlington for Bowling/Games? |
| Wishing you a weekend of sex… |
| You’ll probably meet similarly minded business travelers |
|
That's a pretty dead area on the weekends because there aren't many business travelers on the weekend.
Maybe 14th Street? |
| Can you change to the Hyatt regency in Tyson’s corner? I’ve always enjoyed the bars at Eddie v’s and Earl’s. |
Not during the weekend. |
Nevermind thought it was the Tyson’s ritz. |
|
Tell which parts of town you plan to visit?
Ps, why is this in relationships? |
Hate would be pointing out that no one has thought of that hotel since Clinton/Lewinsky. |
