…who, according to OperaWire “is not known for her contribution to the arts.” I get that it’s a control thing, and a narcissism thing, and an “own the Libs” thing, but the Trumps have made no secret re: how awful they think DC is. At some level, they’re just branding things that they apparently despise. Perhaps they view this as somehow being transformative? https://operawire.com/kennedy-center-opera-house-could-be-renamed-first-lady-melania-trump-opera-house/ |
Ive always hoped to live in a country modeled after a second rate county fair. |
| Please don’t waste time on these stupid deflection tactics. Let him rename it, we can change it back and stop going in the interim. |
|
I said when he renamed the “Gulf of America” we should encourage him. I’d much rather have Trump Canyon, Mount Trump, the Trump Ocean, Trump Lake, Trump Duckpond, Trump Mudpuddle, etc, than have him haphazardly destroying our country. Give him a Sharpie, or maybe a gold gel pen, and let him go to (Trump) town.
It might be confusing for everything to have the same name, but it would still be vastly preferable to where I think we’re currently headed - a dictatorship, an outlaw state, with no national security, no allies, a broken economy with a collapsed dollar and the Trump coin the new official currency, and multiple Trump concentration camps. |

+ infinity Get him the Sharpies AND the gold gel pens. As many as he wants. |
| Someday there will be a competition among federal prisons to see which one gets the honor. |
| From escort to having your name on the Kennedy center. The American dream! |
My dream is that someone is keeping a long list of Trump executive actions, which can be instantly undone in January 2029 when we get a real President back. |
I asked Chat GPT and even AI was like, oh sh*t: “Compiling every single executive action—including executive orders, presidential proclamations, memoranda, determinations, notices, national‑security directives, and administrative orders—that Donald Trump signed across both of his terms is a massive undertaking: he issued over 1,000 total actions (roughly 391 executive orders and nearly 1,000 total instruments) Approx. Count (2017–2025) Executive Orders ~391 Presidential Proclamations ~570 (first term only) Presidential Memoranda & Notices - Hundreds more Determinations, Sequestration Orders, NSPMs - Dozens Why I can’t list them all here 1. Volume & complexity – With 171 orders in 2025 alone (EO 14147–14317) , and 220 during 2017–2021 , it’s unwieldy to enumerate each in this format. 2. Multiple document types – Beyond EO’s, there are proclamations, memoranda, notices, national‑security directives, etc. 3. Dynamic updates – Additional actions are issued regularly (e.g., July 2025 saw new orders on tariffs, national parks, energy, and more) . ⸻ 🔍 How to access the full lists • Federal Register (2025) – Lists EO 14147–14317 (171 total), with the ability to download CSV/JSON of every document . • Wikipedia – Tracks EO 13765–13984 (2017–2021) and # of proclamations, memoranda, etc. . • Ballotpedia – Maintains a reverse‑chronological list of Trump’s executive orders, memoranda, and proclamations . • WhiteHouse.gov – Up‑to‑date archive of all Presidential Actions, sortable by EOs, memoranda, and proclamations ✅ Next steps If you want a specific subset or topic-focused group—like all orders on immigration, transgender policy, or climate withdrawal—I can absolutely drill into those and list them individually. Just let me know the area of interest, and I’ll provide the full list with signed dates and details. ⸻ TL;DR • Trump issued ~391 EOs plus hundreds more actions from 2017–2025. • The Federal Register, Wikipedia, WhiteHouse.gov, and Ballotpedia have comprehensive, downloadable lists. • For a more manageable list, please specify a theme or timeframe. |

Doesn’t Trump have better things to do than waste time and energy on this insignificant place? It is almost like he is using his position to spite people.
|
| No one cares. Kennedy center is for the rich in DC. Normal people do not go there anymore |
|
And these don’t even include the late night Truth Social posts.
|
Well, lots of very normal people went there up until Trump decided to take it over. There really was something for almost every taste, and certainly for every price range — from free, including the free shuttle, on up. The Millennium Stage programs were very popular, and that’s just one of their many community-focused programs. You may not care, but quite a few of the rest of us do. |
uh, he is. Some of us knew that this was just going to be a revenge presidency. |
