I’m not eating anything different/more, nothing overly salty, I’m actually exercising more since I’m working less, but this month I am so incredibly bloated, crampy, and gassy. No, I’m not pregnant, but I have that hard to breath, diaphragm stretch feeling. My arms, legs, belly, all have that look and feel of edema. My pants are super tight in the waist. I’m SO gassy, and it stinks! I upped my water the past couple days to see if it would help and it hasn’t. My period is due any day, but this is insane. Why is this month so different? Any advice or do I just have to wait it out? |
All the humidity. I feel bloated and gross in the summer. |
I hadn’t even considered that. But I’ve been sweating a lot running. Wouldn’t that make me less bloated? |
Are you drinking anything different in the heat? Artificial sweeteners make me bloated... |
I workout hard most days, sweat like a mofo, and always feel bloated in the summer. |
Well, shoot. This sucks! |
Sounds like you ate something that threw off your digestion. Drink tons of water and do child's pose to relieve the gas. |
Rare cause could be something wrong with your kidneys that is causing edema. Check the toilet for foamy bubbles after you urinate. Not surefire, but could be a sign. |
Is this a new covid symptom? I read that the symptoms included GI stuff... |
Get a celiac blood test. Bloat was the main symptom that my mom had prior to getting tested positive for celiac disease. |
Extreme gas is another celiac symptom. |
How old are you? My pre-period bloating is out of control in perimenopause. It started at 42. |
Bloating is a normal part of fertility. More concerned about the poor circulation causing swelling on your legs. Try some good hip flexor stretches (like a lunge stretch), pigeon pose, do a really good abdominal massage to free up stuck stool, and add some chia pudding or water with chia to your diet.
You need to poop and your lymphatic system is sluggish. Look up the Big 6 lymph clearing. |
Also happy baby. Try to do this in the morning and have two glasses of warm water as soon as you wake up to start eliminating. |
