New Superman movie really good...

I watched a trailer for it last night and thought it looked so boring I didn’t even finish the trailer. I loved Christopher Reeves Superman so I guess nothing else will compare for me.

It doesn't appear to be inspiring or fun.

The previews make it look boring and preachy.

My teens enjoyed it! They said there were a few slow parts but overall really liked it. They okayed it for the younger one too and they’re going to take him during the week.

Agree with pp - also saw the preview last night (was at F1, which I enjoyed), and it sparked zero emotion in me. Maybe in part because I had no clue who the main actors were; it left me feeling cold. And the mental image/comparison to Christopher Reeve did not help.

Oh my goodness. I saw it last night too (along with my 10 year old) and we both loved it. Neither of us were that excited about it going in, but really liked it. I thought the guy playing Superman was absolutely perfect.

I could have done without the political stuff on Russia and tech bros, but didn't find it particularly preachy.

I would (and already have) recommended it. A little violent, but a cute dog makes up for it!

What are you people talking about??? In no way can this movie be perceived as anti-USA. I went in looking for that specifically and did not find it. It is definitely anti-Bezos/Zuckerburg, and anti-Putin. The message around the "aliens" not being human was handled pretty well in my opinion. I'm a Republican, for what it's worth, and have a pretty high radar for movies that are preaching at me. This was not that.
