Hi,
Approximately, how much did your kid's braces/ invisalign cost you after insurance? I was quoted approx. $ 4,500 -$ 4,900 and was told it would take about 16 months for my kid to wear it (this is after insurance). Is this about right? Thanks! |
Sounds about right. |
Just about the same for us. |
Sounds cheap. All of my kids' have been out of pocket. Phase 1 for 1 kid expander and braces on top was about $3700. My invisalign was $6500 and my old child's full metal braces were around $7k. |
We’re in Arlington, Invisalign, one teen $5034 after insurance, the other $5946 after (started about 6-9 months later so costs went up). about 18 months for total treatment. We paid a deposit $500, then the payments were spread out over 18 months. There was a slight discount if you paid in full but not a significant amount. |
That seems right depending how much your insurance covers and how much extra work is required with the Invisaligns. |
That seems great. I have to pay 7000 for each of my twins! |
How common are multiple rounds? |
Anywhere between $3000 - $5500. |
Way low for hcol area. |
That is really cheap. My kid's is $8000 for 18 months, but it is 100% OOP. |
OP here - thanks everyone, good to know they are not overcharging us. Tkx! |
I am almost finished with Invisalign. Cost before insurance was $4800. Insurance is covering half. However, it is also a short duration. 14 trays. The costs vary considerably.
Also this is in DC |
When it goes in phases it’s typically more money. My older daughter’s teeth were a mess and braces were about $9k. My youngest are easy and regular braces are $5k and will take 18 months. |
Around $4000 out of pocket. Insurance paid $1000 and we got a $500 discount for paying in a lump sum rather than making payments over time. |
