Where is USA headed?

What do you think it will be like in the country for the next decade? Climate deniers, health care vaccine deniers, data deniers. Add the type of deniers you have seen or you predict will emerge within the next 10 years. People from other countries and/or if you have lived extensively elsewhere : can you draw correlations to what you have seen in a different country, and if you have kids, do you advise your kid to move to the country from where you moved to the US even if the kid has never visited or lived in that country? Should people try to move to ...I don't know ...Mars?

Heading dooooown, way down. The less people admit it the faster we all sink. The biggest prob with the US is ego. The 100 American flags in houses in my neighborhood - could not be more obnoxious. The problem is that so many continue to talk about how great this country has been and will be without actually observing what it is like now. We have a lot of probs and it's not a shame to admit it so we can fix it and recognize we gave something to do better and want to learn from other countries who may do something better but nope, it's always about how nobody is stronger, richer or has more freedom than the US. So what? None if it means we are happy or good at anything!

It's like when you live in California, they get it in their kids/students from a young age that there is no better place to live than in CA.

That's what people observe when they visit from other countries -- why are there so many flags everywhere and there are more flags than clocks in public places (that was before everyone carried a phone and someone noticed Americans don't wear watches).

Well, ICE now has an absolutely insane budget the purpose of which will be to round up and lock up millions of people. This is not an exaggeration, because if this is not the intent why would they need so much? So I’m gonna say we are headed for a militarized police state with no real functioning civil service because we’ve cut essential services to the point where much of government will cease to function.

The rich will get richer and everyone else is screwed.

The super wealthy are preparing to move to Mars, but unfortunately, they’ll only do it after they’ve killed off the rest of us by destroying everything on earth for their own profit.

They’re building walnut paneled, professionally decorated bunkers in New Zealand for a less severe disaster scenario.
