Anyone have the details on which local clubs will be participating in this upcoming tournament? I am sure it will be hot and miserable, but the teams marketed as attending, if true, seem extraordinary for the area.

SYC just announced as playing across age groups today.

Seeing that the FAQ still has it in Texas, I think this is probably going to flop.

I will be shocked if this flopped despite the kinks and the late start at marketing. Ignored it initially because only Potomac was promoting it but they have several academies committed and Events DC behind it as well.

Events DC just means they rented Fields at RFK. Or are hoping to until they realize Chelsea-STJ cobranded camp has the whole complex reserved Thurs and Fri

What one complex in DC has 10 lit fields, 6 turf fields and 4 grass fields? I can't think of any.

If you click on hotels, it looks like the tournament is being played somewhere waayyyyy out in Upper Marlboro Maryland called Liberty Sports Park. Not "Washington DC" as advertised.

OMG those poor kids. Its going to be disgustingly, grossly hot and humid.
