that's less than $1500/night?
Does this exist Must be warm and on the beach. |
The Watercolor Resort in FL has signage stating that any chair left unattended for 30 minutes will be considered abandoned (or something along those lines)
I love it and wish more places would follow suit. |
I think the trick is to rent a condo next to a resort. You will get your own chairs but you can still use the restaurants at the resort. |
I dive and end up in Roatan or Belize often during spring break. Never had a problem getting a chair after diving. No problems in Bonaire or Little Cayman either.
Stay away from the mega resorts and popular islands and you won’t have an issue. |
Can it be adults only? |
Provoke with this is no pool service. |
Thats not always true. Plus if you have the Caribbean why need a pool? |
No sea creatures in a pool |
Puerto Rico |
I was at Cheeca Lodge on Islamorada a few years back, and they had someone walking around clearing towels off unoccupied beach chairs. I also saw this at the Grand Hyatt in Kuai. I agree that all hotels should do this. The whole get up at dawn and reserve chairs with a towel is a nasty European habit that we need to nip in the bud. If people aren't allowed to "reserve" beach chairs with towels, there are plenty for everyone.

Miami Beach, the beach is so long and every hotel/resort has their own chairs. They also have chairs and umbrellas galore at every entrance. |
Then why not just rent a house in BF middle america with a pool? |
I had a hard time getting a chair at Cheeca. I sat on my towel near the pool on the ground. It was during spring break. |
It is annoying, Op |
I move people's stuff! Sometimes I pile a bunch on the same chair. If anyone asks me about it. i pretend to speak another language. |
