Anyone here on a beta blocker and effectively lost weight?

I managed to lose 20 lbs last year, but in the last 6 months-not one lb. I don't even understand how I lost the 20, although it took 2 years and two months of an unwanted thyroid storm. I need 10 more lbs off, and I'm good. Now I'm back to zero weight loss again. Have to take the beta blockers. Cannot get my HR up high enough to burn any fat due to that.

1200 calories
3 mile walking daily
Weights and bands 3 days a week.

If I eat any more than 1200 calories, it's almost immediate weight gain. Same if I stop walking.

** clarification- thyroid storm was only two months- not 2 years, lol. I am euthyroid now.

You can’t get into zone 2?

I’m on beta blockers and I lost weight. But I also see that my heart rate easy goes up when I exercise. Sometimes even zone 4.

I suspect that is lot of it. I work with a trainer 2x a month and he is even surprised that my HR never goes above 90 when I'm doing cardio.
