Yes, many of the same tactics and rhetotic Trump and the right have been going on about for years. sadly, now they have the courts and military in their pockets.

I don't see what's wrong with Trump using the same tactics that were used against him.

The right loves Trump because he uses the tools that have been used against them for decades. The left feels like they are the only ones that have the right to use prosecutors for their political gain.

Fortunately for all of us, Trump is almost over. He's an unhealthy, old man not eligible to run in 2028. And he's already used up six months of his current term. We don't know what's coming next, but we do know that Trump won't be part of it.

Sadly, I think you are correct. These people are just tools for extremist politicians and businessmen. As far as voters, their followers vote with anger rather than reason.

Trump has broken a lot of things and we don't know what the 2028 President (either party) will do with that damage (take advantage of it or fix it)...but we do know that none of his spawn have that special sauce. His time in politics is rapidly ending.

The current situation with Republicans shows that half the population has been primed to accept and promote lies. They'll find a way to transfer Trump's status to somebody else. The powerful do what they will and the weak suffer what they must. I'd like to be more optimistic.
