Guacamole

Trying to find a new recipe.
Have one to share?

Avocado. Fresh garlic. Fresh onion. Fresh lime. Sea Salt. We’ll also add fresh cilantro & jalapeño.

Peel them.
Mash them up real good.
Stir in some salt and pepper.
Stir in some fresh lime juice.
Consume within an hour or less.

Hot Sauce
Cilantro (leave out if you hate)

I don't like onions, so I leave them out. Feel free to add if you'd like.

I get a lot of compliments for this recipe. I think the key is mushing up the onions, salt, jalapeno and cilantro in a mortar and pestle.

I think raw onions overpower the whole dish, and then stay with you so long afterwards that they are just unenjoyable.

Yes this is how I make it too! It’s excellent. No garlic and no tomato.

I'm of the opinion that that onions--raw ones, in particular--ruin pretty much everything, but I know that's controversial.

They can. Any tricks on not letting them? Does chop them, or sautee them before mixing with other ingredients?
