Avocado. Fresh garlic. Fresh onion. Fresh lime. Sea Salt. We’ll also add fresh cilantro & jalapeño. |
Peel them.
Mash them up real good. Stir in some salt and pepper. Stir in some fresh lime juice. Consume within an hour or less. |
Mashed avocado
Chopped tomatoes Chopped jalapeños Lime juice Salt Hot Sauce Cilantro (leave out if you hate) I don't like onions, so I leave them out. Feel free to add if you'd like. |
I have always loved the Rosa Mexicano recipe. Here it is: https://www.tasteasyougo.com/2020/04/rosa-mexicano-signature-guacamole-recipe.html |

I get a lot of compliments for this recipe. I think the key is mushing up the onions, salt, jalapeno and cilantro in a mortar and pestle. |
Avocado
Red onion Jalapeño Cilantro Lime juice Salt and pepper Adjust to your liking |
Avocado, green onion, garlic, lime juice, cumin, jalapeños, salt, pepper, cilantro, tomatoes if you wish. |
I think raw onions overpower the whole dish, and then stay with you so long afterwards that they are just unenjoyable. |
This. |
No that’s just mashed avocado. You need the mix-ins |
+1. What a crappy "recipe." Would not want. |
Yes this is how I make it too! It’s excellent. No garlic and no tomato. |
I'm of the opinion that that onions--raw ones, in particular--ruin pretty much everything, but I know that's controversial. |
They can. Any tricks on not letting them? Does chop them, or sautee them before mixing with other ingredients? |
