Trump deportations
Illegal criminals and gangs laying low. |
crime has been going down for more than Trump's term. It basically spike post COVID and has been going down ever since. |
These are not considered crimes. Only immigrants are criminals. LE arrest US citizens and elected democrats. |
Plus reduced reporting. Duh. |
I would only believe homicide numbers. DC Police are notorious for not taking police reports, and downgrading felonies. |
+1 Crime stayed elevated in DC longer than elsewhere but is now going down here too. Thankfully. |
Are you local? Crime is definitely down here. Significantly. |
Because only Fox was reporting that DC was a hellscape of crime. Yes there was an uptick but the federal police did a big sweep to help out MPD (according to the DOJ’s press releases) and things have improved. There is also a lot of different theories about why crime happens. Much of it was a result of the pandemic. |
This. |
The pendulum is swinging back, away from the "defund the police/BLM" imbecility post-Floyd. Police departments everywhere are now going to be able to again recruit successfully, as derogatory characterizations of police officers drop off as people realize that "violence interruptors" don't cut it, and that enforcing the law has social benefits for everyone except the criminals. |
The police didn't make the kids stop carjacking cars. MPD is fine, they are a not a bad police force although they are understaffed. But they didn't reduce crime. The kids are beginning to recover from covid and lawlessness. |
kash patel has made violent crime the priority for the FBI this is working out |
