The FCPS middle school and high school we are zoned for both have huge cell towers on the property. Maybe I'm late to the party here but how on earth was this ever approved?
Our kids will be spending 7 hours a day, every day for 6 years in close range to a cell tower. Cool. |
| Sounds like you need some education. |
| It’s a money maker for FCPS - prior to Thoreau MS cell tower installation, I recall that the carrier wrote a check in gratitude - and funding was applied towards renovation. |
Imagine if you were a teacher. |
Blood money $$$ I do feel bad for the teachers too but adults are not the same as children who are still growing. |
| Which schools? |

The industry answer: no study for the past 3 decades have shown health risks.

Loudoun seems concerned enough to stop it. It’s not a matter of “understanding the science”. Long term exposure on children to this type of radiation has not been studied extensively. Acute exposure has been studied. Not chronic low level. |

There is even one elementary school on that list!!! Thank goodness my kids aren't zoned for westgate. |
| Are the concerned people also concerned about their kids being around wifi all the time? |
Yes |
| There's one right by Haycock. |
That’s not a cell tower. That’s a Remote Communication Outlet for the FAA. |
