| Wanted one my entire life- husband always talked me out of it and I was also nervous but now at 59 i really want one and thinking is it too late? ridiculous? Seem too vain? |
| I don’t think it sounds crazy at all. You get one life and if this is something you have always wanted to do. I hope you will go for it! |
|
You should enjoy your money however you please.
It will likely only matter to you. |
| No, do what makes YOU happy at ANY age. |
| Yes. |
Its just an unnecessary risk but if you've been wanting it so bad for so long then just go for it. |

I always think it's odd when I see or hear of women in their 60s and above getting plastic surgery. Just seems like by that age you should have moved beyond the point of caring so much what other people think and have reached a point of acceptance. Also self-awareness that no one really GAF anymore if you're hot or not at your age. Sorry to be harsh.
Also risks of surgery truly do go up as you get older, even for something as minor as a nose job. Surgical risks of anesthesia, infection, unexpected consequences are one thing at 25, entirely different at 60. |

No it is never too late to improve your appearance OP.
At your age it may be financially feasible to get the surgery since your children are likely grown and retirement may still be awhile. 🥰 |

1. It sounds like your husband loves you the way you are. That’s lovely.
2. Do you have children who inherited your nose? Male or female? Grandchildren with your nose? This would send a very negative message to them. It’s one thing to get a nose job before they knew you. It’s another thing entirely to get a nose job after you’ve given birth to them. It’s sending the message that you feel ugly because of your nose and so should they. Tread carefully. |

You may live 30+ years and noses keep growing.
Do it! I had similar questions about getting my teeth straightened again at 50. I am so glad I did. |
If OP is healthy, wouldn’t flying be more dangerous right now? |
|
I agree that surgical risks increase with age, so if you want it done, do it now.
|
| This is the youngest you'll ever be . . . |
| Get a b00b job while you’re at it… |
| My MIL got nose (smaller) and chin (bigger) jobs when she was in her 60s and hasn't regretted it. Now in her 80s. You only live once and it's your life, body and decision. |
