Is 59 too old to get a nose job?

Anonymous
I got a face lift and laser when I was 58. Wish i'd gotten the nose job too. I'd already had upper and lower blepharoplasty. Not too old. Enjoy your life.

Nope. You have a lot of years ahead of you and should do what you want. I bet you'll be happy you did!

Just seems like by that age you should have moved beyond the point of caring so much what other people think and have reached a point of acceptance. Also self-awareness that no one really GAF anymore if you're hot or not at your age. Sorry to be harsh.

Also risks of surgery truly do go up as you get older, even for something as minor as a nose job. Surgical risks of anesthesia, infection, unexpected consequences are one thing at 25, entirely different at 60.

How old are you?

I don't wear makeup and never really GAF about much of this stuff. Always looked younger than my age and fine with it. Yet late stage menopause/early 60s has not been kind to my hair, frizzing when it seems like there is just one percent of humidity in the air. Somehow it ages me and I just hate it.

So now I get a blow dry/style 1X week, sometimes more if there is a big event. Feels like it has taken both years off me as well as lightened my mood. I don't fret about the expenditure because I've never really spent any many on cosmetics/hair until this point.

Yep! My aunt got a boob job and tummy tuck at 62. She’s lost 120lbs and had so much loose skin that was making her miserable. She is so happy and looks fabulous. Our entire family is happy for her. She like a whole new person.
