There seem to have been a ton of these social media / new articles on missing teens. But we never hear of the details of what happened. Happy to share my families story anonymously of course.
My neice was very troubled. The family & home was part of the problem as identified in a series of hospitalizations and treatments for her eating disorder. Family therapy is required. Even as she "recovered" the problems at home continued. She left home one night. Her Dad tried to stop her but she left. When she didn't return the next day they reported her missing. It turns out she was woth her boyfriend and his Mother. His Mother believed her parents were terrible and so actively kept her in hiding. Eventually drama ensued because my neices mental health doesn't just suddenly get better and she went back home. To this day I'm surprised the other Mom wasn't charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor or something. She truly believed that her parents were at fault. |

I thought she went missing as in was kidnapped.
I had a friend growing up whose aunt went missing when she was a high schooler and they found her body years later. |

My neighbor went missing on the 1970s another dad on the block white dude for you Qanon dummies took her. They found her body a weeks after she was taken and arrested him two years later after the church going shit hurt two other girls.
His wife to this day still claims he’s a good Catholic. |
| That’s not missing she just ran away. |
Yes, but all of the "missing" teenagers in our area are also running away. None were kidnapped. |
As do I. |
| Why would you feel the need to turn her personal business into an AMA? That’s my only question. Please don’t say to help others. This is not your kid. You are not the parent. Do some serious self reflection and consider asking the thread to be deleted. |
The error rate is pretty high. You might want to stop drinking earlier in the day. |
| I have a relative was a PI expert at locating these kids. 80% leave again. He found one kid more than 10 times. So sad. |
