My neice was very troubled. The family & home was part of the problem as identified in a series of hospitalizations and treatments for her eating disorder. Family therapy is required.

Even as she "recovered" the problems at home continued. She left home one night. Her Dad tried to stop her but she left.

When she didn't return the next day they reported her missing.

It turns out she was woth her boyfriend and his Mother. His Mother believed her parents were terrible and so actively kept her in hiding.

Eventually drama ensued because my neices mental health doesn't just suddenly get better and she went back home.

To this day I'm surprised the other Mom wasn't charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor or something. [b]She truly believed that her parents were at fault[/b].[/quote]
