Side Parts

Are they back yet? I think I look better with one, but it made me look dated so I switched to center.

I think they are.

Why in the world would you worry about this??? I never cared about stuff like where I part my hair!!!

Mine has always been parted to accommodate a cowlick. Changing it would be ridiculous.

Back? People part their hair in the manner that looks best for them. No specific part has ever been in or out for rational people.

Same here.

90% of the girls in my kid’s HS yearbook have a center part. Don’t be a sheeple. Go crazy!

I know you said "rational people" but my teenaged daughter has very strong feelings about this. She insists on a middle part, even though she has a cowlick that makes one side bump. But she very kindly tells me that my side part (same cowlick) suits me.

I was in Rome in the spring. It was very noticeable how many women had middle parts.

I have always center parted because that is what looks best for me. My daughter is a side parter.

I would not be switching this. Almost everyone looks better one way or the other.

I have never given a single thought to whether my side part is trendy. My hair finds it's way back to a side part no matter what I do and I'm cool with that!

I didn't know they were out. The only time I ever noticed hair parting as a fashion trend was in the 90s when the zig zag part was " in" for a minute.

Oh yeah! I had forgotten about that. It was so ugly!

I forgot to, until this thread! I hope my post didn't retraumatize you or anyone else. It was bad, especially when paired with cutesy pins or barrettes.
