Woohoo!

| Congratulations!! I hopw to get there someday. Enjoy! |

Congrats, that's HUGE!
Have you made a plan for the newly-freed-up income? If it were me, I'd spend a whole mortgage payment on something celebratory, and THEN start squirreling it away.

OP here. We just booked a vacation: nothing fancy, but we rarely go, so it will be special. It's such a nice feeling to be debt free
|
| Well done. We paid ours off last January and I'm loving this freedom. |
| Congrats! |
| I am so sorry you were not able to capture a large 30 year fixed rate mortgage under 3%. I am loving making my mortgage payments from my high yield savings account and watching the account go up every month. |
| Yay! |
You know even those low interest rate mortgages far paid off. That OP’s is paid off is No indication of the mortgage rate. |
| Congrats!🎉🎈 |
What high yield! I get 5-20% several times a month tax free. |
| That is awesome! People get so bent out of shape about a paid off mortgage. Depending on circumstances and plans, its one of the best things you can do! If you want to stay in your house and you are in a high cost of living area and want to retire, paid it off while you are still earning! |
We have 5 years on a low interest mortgage baby! |
| Congratulations! |
| Awesome! |
