Pretty dress and afternoon tea

Anonymous
My 14-year-old daughter is joining me on a business trip to London in July. As her birthday present, I promised her a pretty dress and afternoon tea. Any recommendations for a dress shop or a tea site? Thanks!

Claridges for tea is very special. Book early because it's a hard reservation. Do you have time to shop for a dress in London? IMO, It'l be the experience that she'll remember.

Sketch has the best afternoon tea in the world. It is absolutely whimsical and charming. And pricey. But worth it!

We loved our afternoon tea at the Hyde Park tea room. And Hyde Park, too, of course.

No idea about dresses, I'm a man, but we had a really nice tea at Brown's Hotel.

Peggy Porschen's for a teen girl. Try to book an outside table.

Yes but Hobbs London is way cheaper in the UK than in the US and much more variety in the UK as well in terms of clothing styles available. I shop there a lot.
