Michigan wait list

DD just got off Michigan wait list. It’s so late and she’s excited about her other choice. But she’s torn. Anyone else getting in and thinking of changing schools now?

One of DD's classmates who had enrolled at ND decided on Michigan when she got off the waitlist.

What part of the country, CA/NY or someplace in the middle?

You have to apply directly to Ross. How did they get off the waitlist but not get into Ross?

Michigan takes around a 1,000 students a year off the waitlist. This year it could be almost 1,500.

Just goes to show how arbitrary the admissions process is. Most people would think that Notre Dame would be a tougher admit.

Not as many applicants from the DMV. Michigan is inundated with them.

Why so many this year?

My daughter got off last week and turned it down. She's happy with her original option.

No offer off WL for my DD yet. She applied to engineering so maybe a tougher admit. Oh well, she’s happy with where she’s going.

Obviously she never applied directly to Ross, so why would she ever expect to get in there? Your post makes no sense.
