Didn’t want to resurrect the old thread on vb since it was all about trashing her appearance but I really need to comment on the article on people.com about how mark anthony called her “the most beautiful woman in the room” at brooklyn’s wedding. Then she slow danced with him to the song meant to be the first dance with nicola. Cringe. No wonder they are estranged.

Why is this article from 2025 about a wedding that happened in 2022? |
Recent stories about them being estranged snd I guess tensions started at wedding. |
Even the rich, famous, and allegedly "beautiful" (externally) aren't immune to becoming monsters-in-law.
Though it's pretty gauche of the other set of in-laws to be rehashing this in public now. Trashy all around. |
I mean, that’s what the source says but who knows if this is true or somewhat exaggerated. Wouldn’t we have heard about it earlier? |
If this is true, it's pretty awful. I mean, wtf? |
I thought there was always bad blood between Victoria and her DIL, even before the wedding. I don’t blame the son for siding with his wife. Her family is far richer than the Beckhams. 🤣 |
That's my question. I think that Nicola may need to learn that in a family that public, precious little is private, and running to People three years later looks petty and inappropriate. Family relationships between people in their 20s and their parents can often be rocky, and especially in a public, two celebrity couple like that. That said, it may be that Brooklyn and his wife do need to take some space away from his family in order to establish their own household. But, I hope that they are making their own livings because you can't fail to show up for your father's 50th and then expect him to foot the bill for your rent. |
Okay, but if Mark Anthony told her to do it, then I don't know? Maybe she was just trying not to make waves? |
I thought so too. I remember reading about a lot of tension around the wedding with Victoria wanting to control things like the dresses, entertainment, etc. Like she was the star and hosting the event. If that's the case (and I can totally believe it may have been) it makes sense it would bother the DIL. |
I don't follow this family, but would not be surprised. I mean, she's Posh Spice! Of course she has main character syndrome. Where on earth would she have learned to be humble. If the bride wanted total control of the wedding then she should have had it in her hometown and had her mom manage the whole shebang / run point on Victoria Beckham. If she didn't stand up for herself at the time, then she doesn't get to pout about it for the rest of her life. A wedding is one day. A marriage should last most of a lifetime. Move on. |
Her daddy has plenty. |
Well, that explains it. Can you imagine being Brooklyn Beckham and having to be a cute doll or invisible your whole life with narcissistic celebrity parents who moved to LA to be closer to the BS that is Hollywood? I'd get a little distance if I married someone rich too. That said, he better hope this marriage sticks or he better make his own money. |
Nelson Peltz, Brooklyn’s FIL has a net worth of $ 1.6 billion. |
Okay, but his daughter doesn't. Thus, Brooklyn doesn't necessarily get much if they divorce. |
