Capelli uniform sizing

For those with adolescent boys who wear Capelli, can you please share their jersey size along with their height and weight. DS usually wears a M in Adidas but I don’t know how it translates to Capelli. I looked at the size chart but I’m still not sure what size to order.

I'm glad you started this topic because I'm stumped as well.

DS is 6'1 and usually wears a Nike Tall or an Adidas Large top and adidas M shorts but a parent told me Capelli runs bigger than adidas. Her kid is still in youth sizing though.

I feel like Capelli runs small, not large. Maybe they are just inconsistent.

Our club had sample Capelli uniforms in its main office for new players to try on before ordering. You might want to ask the club.

Our club also has samples in the office to try on. The bigger problem is getting your gear in time for the season. Order ASAP, because their supply chain is a mess

Not sure how much this will help but we had Capelli last 2 years. Son is 5'8", weighs 140-45 and he had Adult M training shirts, match jersey and outerwear. Fit fine, think he was closer to 5'6" a couple years ago when he tried it on and he's ordering M again for next uniform cycle. The M shorts and warm up pants were a little big a couple years ago so we got S, those are now a bit snug so we ordered M on everything other than socks, which are size L (he wears 9-10 cleats depending on brand).

This is actually really helpful if we can’t try on at the club’s office as PPs suggested. My son is about an inch taller and 10 lbs heavier so maybe a large will work for the jersey. He asked for a large but I thought it might be huge.

Be aware quality sucks. If patches fall off ask them to send new ones

Definitely best to try it on if you can, am guessing yours is a tweener with M/L on the tops, probably M on the shorts, but heck that could depend on the style or how he prefers they fit. And if in doubt, go with what he asked for, then he can't blame you if it's too big!

Also since it hasn't been said yet - order EARLY. Capelli has been notorious for delays (and poor customer service) the past several years

I would love to, but the club hasn't sent out ANY Information for the new season yet. And tryouts were before spring break!

Large top, Medium shorts if he's skinny. The shorts will be short but that's how they all like them anyway.

that is frustrating. if you don't see anything by early June, I would reach out. If you don't order by early June, you won't get the uniform in time for August games.
