I’ve posted here a few times - for a refresher: I’m early 60s, was 115ish in HS/college, 125ish after kids, then shot up to 150. Got down to low 140s and stalled out, even after dropping alcohol to 1-2x/week (if that). Maybe that last factor is what I’ve found most annoying.
So I’ve posted here about what to do and have gotten mostly helpful, only a few judgy responses. Instead of (lots of) walking only, I’ve added 3x/week strength training. While I already eat a lot of protein (or feel like it), I’ve upped it more at lunch. That has me less hungry at dinner. I’m eating dinner earlier, maybe then salad with DH if he gets home late. And I finally lost 6 pounds - beyond thrilled as I just felt stalled out. Makes a huge difference mentally to move from 140s to 130s. If I get it down 10 more, I’ll be triple beyond thrilled. Congrats! That's great that you're seeing some traction. Keep it up! |

There it is. You are welcome and enjoy the gains! |
Great job!! |
Nice, you're going to get exponential results with that outcome. Your stronger muscles will be moving less weight. I bet your body is feeling even more functional now. |
