I think teens are aware of parental phone habits.

Mine started reading during his college application season because my husband and I were posting and reading a lot.

As a freshman, he still stops by. I don't think he has ever posted. He told me he shared the site link with an AU grad student. They enjoy laughing at the toxicity.

I saw a series of joke posts go up quickly and get removed quickly a few weeks ago. They were along the lines of "Hey, friend name" and "Hey Back". Seemed more like a middle schoolers sensibility.

Lots on here about boring oldster problems...not much fun.

During the pandemic, my then 12-13 year old read the Eagle Snafu thread and contributed a reply. She loved that one, but doesn't come on here regularly.

My son has reported that kids at school have posted together in the private school section. They made things up, knowing how easy it was to rile up DCUM parent posters.

Some are obvious like the recent one about the "Mom" with the daughter at a local private who cheated with ChatGPT and thought the punishment was too harsh.

Lately there's a lot of inane postings. I strongly suspect it's little schmucks. Maybe we should flock to teenager site and post there for laughs and giggles. Fair is fair.

Kid here - I love coming on here and reading adults act all petty and my age. Me and my friends usually come on here and act like normal adults sharing our opinions (Not trolling tho js our genuine opinion). We also post questions a pretty normal amount.

To clarify, when I say "I love coming on here", "sharing our opinions", and "Post questions a pretty normal amount" I mean that we enjoy these from how easily adults get enraged over the smallest things and how people will be so snarky when they're anonymous. (PP)
