What's ridiculous about it? Some Fenty supporters have been saying in code and some have been saying out right that Vince Gray will bring back the days of Marion Barry. I made that joke about Marion Barry because there are some Fenty supporters who act as if Marion Barry is a heartbeat away from the mayor's office. (Okay that analogy works for the president but not so much for the mayor but you get my meaning.) Makes no difference to me whether Vince is black or white. I don't care about Fenty's race either but I am lampooning certain Fenty supporters. You might want to ask them about the racial factor.

I'm sure Christie is thrilled to have some good news on the education front after botching his state's Race to the Top application. So you know he'll be on Oprah ready to get camera time with Zuckerberg, the guy whose public image is so bad he has to pay $100 Million to do damage control.

Well, Newark needs the money, and I bet that Rhee will have some lessons to take with her if she goes there. She did a lot of good things. Once she learns how to develop a relationship with the community, she's going to be highly effective.

I saw a report that she looked close to tears afterward. Could that be because she is sad that she will (most likely) be leaving or did Gray give her a hard time in the meeting?
