The US developed Iron dome to stop slow moving rockets. The system is extremely expensive costing $100k for each intercept. The incoming rockets cost maybe $800 each.
Iron dome can not stop ballistic or fast moving missiles. Trump thinks golden dome will be like iron dome but does not understand the limitations of iron dome. Prediction: the cost will reach 800 billion to 1 trillion dollars and nothing will be delivered. Corruption and grafted will take all the money. |
