Cannot read CNN anymore as any news I click on is for subscribers only. NYT and WAPO aren't free either. Where can I to read news for free?

| Instagram. The admin is now leaking to independent journalists. While it isn’t free, Apple News is good. You can read Rolling Stone and Wired, both which have excellent political coverage. Or, try the free 1440 newsletter. |

| Obviously it's not free and it is expensive produce quality news media. Try to at least get a subscription to a smaller local news source or these are all going to disappear very soon. |

The advertising model on websites collapsed, so if you want news from real journalists, the journalists need to be paid. Ergo, pick two or three platforms and pony up. Otherwise, you are going to be left with propaganda and garbage. |

| We use Apple News. We do not pay for Apple News. Most articles are free. We skip the few which require a subscription. |
