2nd year - thanksgiving, Christmas break, summer

Our first year came home for fall break, winter break, part of spring break and summer (after beach week with a UVA group).

If you’re asking if UVA is a DC commuter school where kids return every weekend to NOVA, it’s not. Kids who attend UVA from NOVA are some of the area’s brightest and most ambitious. Their priorities are beyond constant parental handholding.

No need to disparage W&M or make UVA seem like Alabama. Provide better information or refrain from posting.

What are you looking for OP? Do you hope your child comes home more frequently than scheduled breaks?

I read the post and thought that W&M sounds much better than UVA.

Not every weekend but did none of your kids randomly just want to come for a day outside of those breaks ?
