Palestinians are starving to death - WWJD?

How can any religious authorities sanction this?

Do palestinians care about Jesus? No, I don't believe they do.

It seems strange to invoke Jesus for this group.

Why? Do you think Jesus would only care about the suffering of those who shared his faith?

Many children in the Sudan have died now that the US canceled foreign aid for food and medicine when they closed USAID. Not sure how they squares with the supposed Christianity of JD Vance and Marco Rubio (Trump never claimed to be religious.)

The children died one after the other. Twelve acutely malnourished infants living in one corner of Sudan’s war-ravaged capital, Khartoum.

Abdo, an 18-month-old boy, had been rushed to a clinic by his mother as he was dying. His ribs protruded from his withered body. The next day, a doctor laid him out on a blanket with a teddy bear motif, his eyes closed.

Like the other 11 children, Abdo starved to death in the weeks after President Trump froze all U.S. foreign assistance, said local aid workers and a doctor. American-funded soup kitchens in Sudan, including the one near Abdo’s house, had been the only lifelines for tens of thousands of people besieged by fighting.

Bombs were falling. Gunfire was everywhere. Then, as the American money dried up, hundreds of soup kitchens closed in a matter of days.

What Israel has done to the humans of Gaza will be very costly over the long run.

Jesus has been dead thousands of years. Palestinians have existed, and had their religion, way before Christianity came to exist. There's just no relevance with Jesus here.

So the US aid allowed the local government to keep spending money on war instead of helping its own citizens. Helping these people does nothing but extend the violence as we feed the next generation of fodder for their war machines.

People starve to death everywhere OP, especially people who habitually attack their neighbors. Instead of asking wwjd, it would be more relevant to ask wwmd.

“And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakat, then leave their way free. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.”

Christianity came into existence before Islam.

But more to the point, I have an obligation to act according to the tenants of my religion, so as a Christian WWJD is the relevant question. JD Vance and Trump both claim to be Christians. You don’t see them selling corrupted Qur’ans or holding them upside down. They aren’t seeking out Muslim leaders on their death beds. So, they should be asking the same question. WWJD?

There is a Catholic Church in northern Gaza. I remember it being in the news because one person inside was killed by an Israeli sniper. It was in the news

Jesus does not confine his love. He loves everyone. Absolutely everyone.

The obvious answer is that Jesus is sorrowful and offended at the terrible things we do to one another individually and in groups. He is for EVERYONE.

Trump may never have claimed to be religious, but he has his own Bible!

The Iranians and saudis have sent billions to Hamas. They could have installed a desalination plant decades ago, taken in Palestinians, convinced Egypt to open the border for ease of travel and work for them
None of this has happened. The Arabs done want Palestinians in their midst so they are letting Israel do whatever (not that it's right either).
There are plenty of starving children and families worldwide.

Muslims believe Jesus was a holy prophet, just not the son of God.
