Affordable Catered Meal for HS Event

Anonymous
We're planning an end of year celebration for about 80 HS kids, to be held at school, that includes dinner. I don't have a firm budget yet, but funds are tight, so must keep costs on the low end.

Please recommend some dinner options for pick-up or delivery in NoVa (Springfield, Alexandria, Annandale, Falls Church area). We're looking for something more than just pizza or subs that will appeal to a hungry bunch of HSers. TIA!

Listrani’s does catering that is delicious. Lots of different pasta options, salad, and bread. Pretty reasonable prices too.

I second the Cal Tort taco bar, or Chipotle pre-wrapped burritos plus chips and guacamole if you want faster service (80 kids can take a long time in a diy taco line). Chipolte weaps (or will do if you ask) the burritos in half sizes.

Chipotle. They all love it.

Spin Pollo is a good option too. The food is great and they helped our organization provide food to the Bailey's Crossroads shelter during the pandemic.

+1. I did this for the lowest of low budget office parties and it was a hit.

+1 for Chipotle. Maggiano’s is a far higher price point

$875 for 50 kids — that includes salad, entree, pasta and dessert.

Chipotle’s quoted prices are less — but that’s just for one item — burritos for example.

Price it out.

Maggianno’s is a much better deal for better food. Note that the OP didn’t specify a price and described the meal as “dinner”.
