American men should never wear sandals

Good god, can you imagine how dorky you'd have to be to wear bag of these?

Men in the west should never wear sandals, period. Other cultures where sandals are are a part of it since time immemorial, fine.

Maybe the only place that is OK is the beach or pool, otherwise, total dork vibes.

I'm with you. One hundred percent.

Gross and dorky. I do NOT want to see men's feet.

Or maybe teach your menfolk to look after their feet?

It has nothing to do with how feet look. I've been all over the middle east, Africa, India, and Asia. Dudes there can get away with sandals. The weather is hot as heck. It's just part of their cultures.

Western men just look nerdy as hell with sandals. Basically the absent minded math professor.

Sneakers, boots, any kind of dress shoe, heck some guys can even dominate cowboy boots while they'd look terrible in foreign men.

Anything but sandals is fine.

These don’t bother me, but leather is better.

They aren't wearing it for you, OP. Eyes are up here. Stp staring at people's feet.

I'm sorry for your cognitive impairment that caused the most bizarre racism I've seen this month.

Did your mother hit you too hard on the head with a sandal when you were a baby?

Repelling idiots is an extra bonus, beyond the fresh air on a warm day.

You should have a trigger warning on that link, OP. Did not need to that giant foot. Nope.

I have no problem with men wearing sandals in casual settings. It’s hot here. I’d be miserable if I had to wear closed shoes all the time.

Tall boots worn with pantaloons of course.

DH wore these, brown on brown style, today with nice jeans and a white pique polo. He looked hot.

I'm with you, OP. Men in sandals (outside the beach/pool) are a turn-off to me. I don't care if they are well taken care of and manicured feet; I do not like a man in sandals. I know it's petty, but I can't help it.
